Family and Friends

Sending a family member or friend off to teach overseas can create a mix of emotions. There’s no denying that it’s sad to say goodbye for an extended period of time, but it’s also very exciting to see their career and endless opportunities take flight… literally. Besides, it’s an excuse to do a little traveling yourself, while you pay them a visit!

We’ve been there, so we know the challenges involved in such an endeavor, but in recognizing that, we’ve compiled some resources to help everyone stay in touch.

Making Phone Calls

We suggest you use Skype for cheap computer to landline calls or free computer-to-computer video chats.
Download the program and create an account to connect.

Time Differences

It can be tough trying to decide when to call or Skype each other. Here’s a helpful tool (Time Zone Converter) to make those decisions a little easier.

Money Gram

Whether it’s a special occasion or just a kind gesture, a little boost to the bank account goes a long way. If you are looking to send the teacher in your life a bit of extra cash, consider using Canada Post Money Gram

Flights and Tours

Are you interested in visiting one of our teachers? Contact us and we can put you in touch with our travel agent who will hook you up with preferential service and available discounts.

Canadian Government Travel Information and Emergency Contacts
