You know Australia's infrastructure is better than any I have seen in Asia except for maybe Singapore and Malaysia. India is a dumpster and Sri Lanka is crowded into a corner pocket of Colombo. I think travellers expect too much convenience nowadays, they want luxury service at a budget price. All government jobs should be available only to Australian citizens and sorry if they don't treat you like a VIP. Guess what. You aren't one. I'm sure services are good in Canada but the US dismantled its public trams in the 50's and 60's. Try talking to a railway official in India or Sri Lanka. Don't speak English and give you the bum's rush for even travelling on public transport.
