learn to blog, but how?

As you start out learning to blog, I have three pieces of advice:

1) write as many entries as you can think of; this means that people will have reason to stay on your site be more likely to read what you have to say. Also, there will come a time when blogging is not a priority, so get it out quick before you forget what you want to say!

2) use good headlines–people want to know what it’s all about before they spend time reading

3) start small on the gadgets and feeds. Once you’ve gotten some writing up there, then you can browse around for cool stuff. Otherwise, it’s a serious time sucker.
